What began two years ago as a side project turned into an adventure.
Working with a small team, I co-created an industry-changing, multi-channel media property (web, mobile and broadcast) that we believe could redefine the ways in which people promote and advertise themselves in a digital world.
My role was broad and deep. Broadly, I acted as strategic council as we developed the product’s UX/UI, business plan, production schedule and marketing plan. Deeply, I uncovered new aspects of human nature (evolutionary psychology) that we integrated into the work in an attempt to make it infectious from day one.
MySpace recently acquired the product. Plans are to have the digital aspects of PickMe integrated into Myspace by this summer, with the video/broadcast component launching this Fall.
